Mistletoe (European)
Mistletoe, Viscum album
Main uses are as a sedative and to lower the blood pressure. Its action on the circulatory system is to first raise the blood pressure and then to lower it below its initial level.
Internal uses: It has a sedative effect on the nervous system. There is evidence that it may have anti-tumor activities.
Other uses: St. Vitus' dance, epilepsy, convulsions, to stop menstrual flow, circulation, asthma, arthritis, tonic, nervous tension, gallbladder problems, spleen, hysteria, intestines and healing to ulcerated conditions. Also good for breast cancer, HIV and diabetes.
Therapeutic actions: Antispasmodic; Cardiac; Cytostatic; Diuretic; Emetic; Emmenagogue; Hypotensive; Narcotic; Nervine; Stimulant; Tonic; Vasodilator.
Ingredients
Mistletoe (European), Distilled Water, 20% Alcohol.
Instructions
Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
Warnings
CAUTION: Do not use if protein hypersensitive or have chronic-progressive infections such as tuberculosis and AIDS.
