Radix Ophiopoganis (formerly Prince Ginseng)
Prince Ginseng, Pseudostellaria heterophylla
Much like the American Ginseng. It has been used for emotional and physical fatigue, immune deficiency, indigestion, depression, and the cardiovascular system. This is not a member of the panax family, and not a true Ginseng, but it is so called because the effects it has on the body so closely resemble those of true ginsengs. Prince Ginseng is adaptogenic, it strengthens the body's resistance levels and it aids in digestion.
