This amino acid is essential for the formation of skin and hair. It promotes recovery from surgical operations and burns; it is used in the treatment of respiratory disorders such as chronic bronchitis; and it stimulates white blood cell activity in the immune system to help build resistance to disease.
According to the manufacturer: "L-Cysteine is a non-essential amino acid that is an important component of hair, nails and the keratin of the skin. L-Cysteine stabilizes protein structure and aids in the formation of collagen, thereby promoting healthy skin, hair and nail texture."
Ingredients
Each tablet provides 500 mg of L-Cysteine (as L-Cysteine Hydrochloride), 60 mg of Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) and 10 mg of Vitamin B-6 (as Pyridoxine HCL). Other Ingredients: cellulose, stearic acid, and magnesium stearate.
Instructions
As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 1-3 times daily, in the morning or between meals or at bedtime.
